Legal safety requirements
The operation of safety cabinets is subject to strict legal requirements – including EC Directive 89/391/EEC, the Ordinance on Industrial Safety and Health (BetrSichV), the Chemicals Act (ChemG), the Hazardous Substances Ordinance (GefStoffV), the Occupational Safety Act (ArbSchG), the Technical Rules TRGS 526 and 510, the Workplace Ordinance (ArbStättV) as well as the manufacturer's recommended maintenance interval of once a year. With our maintenance service you ensure that your safety cabinets meet legal requirements at all times and can be operated safely – to protect your employees and your business.

Service inspection of safety cabinets
- Inspection of all safety-relevant parts, such as fire-protection seals, fusible links, shut-off devices on ventilation openings, door closers and door interlocks, as well as insulation. The mechanical components are checked for functionality and an exhaust air measurement is carried out using a calibrated anemometer.
- Inspection prior to commissioning and prior to recommissioning after modifications subject to mandatory testing in accordance with BetrSichV section 15
- Electrical testing of the DÜPERTHAL BATTERY line according to DGUV regulation 3 in accordance with DIN EN 50699 or VDE 0702
- Inspection of StawaR collection trays according to WHG and AwSV
- Repairs of safety cabinets
- Delivery of original spare parts
Service inspection of filter units and fume hoods
- Visual and mechanical inspection of e.g. display and LED indicators, housings, filter check and/or filter change.
- Electrical testing of DÜPERTHAL ventilation systems according to DGUV regulation 3 as per DIN EN 50699 and/or VDE 0702
- Optical, mechanical (e.g. sash, table top, cable pull, etc.) and ventilation testing of fume hoods
