Secure Your Privacy: Understand Our Data Protection Policy

Privacy Policy

1. Data protection and security

The operators of this website take the protection of your personal data very seriously. We treat your personal data as strictly confidential, and in compliance with the legal data protection requirements and this privacy policy.

The party responsible for data processing within the meaning of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the German Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG 2018) is DÜPERTHAL SICHERHEITSTECHNIK GMBH & CO. KG, Frankenstrasse 3, 63791 Karlstein, Germany.

The use of our website is generally possible without the submission of personal data. Insofar as personal data (for example, name, address, e-mail addresses) is collected by our website, as far as is possible, this always only takes place with the consent of the user. This data will not be transferred to third parties without your express permission.

For security reasons, and to protect the transmission of confidential content – such as enquiries you send to us as the page operator – this website uses SSL encryption. You can recognise an encrypted connection because the address line of your browser will change from http:// to https:// and display the padlock symbol. When SSL encryption is activated, the data you transmit to us cannot be read by third parties.

We would like to point out that there may be security risks when transmitting data via the internet (e.g. communication via e-mail). It is not possible to completely protect data from being accessed by third parties.

2. Cookies

3. Server log files

The website provider automatically collects and stores information which your browser sends to us automatically, in server log files. These are:

• Browser type and browser version
• Operating system used
• Referrer URL
• Hostname of the accessing computer (IP address)
• Time of the server request

Processing takes place in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f GDPR based on our legitimate interest in ensuring the stability and functionality of our website. Further processing of the IP address may occur during the application of web analysis services (see section Use of the Matomo web analysis service), for verifying consent when subscribing to our newsletter (see section Newsletter) or when calling up pages of our website in which Google Maps or YouTube are embedded (see section Use of tools, plug-ins and others). We reserve the right to subsequently inspect this data if we become aware of specific indications that it is being used unlawfully.

4. Use of tools, plug-ins and others

Google Analytics

This website uses functions of the web analysis service Google Analytics. The provider is Google Ireland Limited (Google), Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.

Google Analytics enables the website operator to analyse the behaviour of website visitors. Here the website operator receives various user data such as page call-ups, time spent on the page, the operating system used and the origin of the user. These data are assigned to the relevant end device of the user. No assignment of a user ID occurs.

Furthermore, we can, for example, use Google Analytics to record your mouse / scrolling movements and clicks. Furthermore, Google Analytics uses a variety of modelling approaches to expand the recorded data sets and applies machine learning technology for its data analysis.

Google Analytics uses technologies which enable the user to be recognised for the purposes of analysing user behaviour (e.g. cookies or device fingerprinting). The information collected by Google about the use of this website is generally transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there.

The use of this service is based upon your consent as per Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. a GDPR and section 25 Para. 1 of the German TTDSG data protection law. This consent can be revoked at any time.

Data transmission to the USA is underpinned by EU Commission standard contractual clauses. You can find more details here: https://privacy.google.com/businesses/controllerterms/mccs/.

Browser plug-in

You can prevent Google from recording and processing your data by downloading and installing the browser plug-in available via the following link: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de.

You can find out more about how Google Analytics treats user data in Google's privacy policy: https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/6004245?hl=de.

Order processing

We have concluded a contract for order processing with Google and we implement the strict requirements of the German data protection authorities regarding the use of Google Analytics in full.

Use of Google Web Fonts
This page uses Web Fonts, provided by Google, for the uniform presentation of fonts. When a page is called up, your browser loads the necessary web fonts into your browser cache, in order to display text and fonts correctly. If your browser does not support Web Fonts, a standard font from your computer will be used.

You can find out more about Google Web Fonts at https://developers.google.com/fonts/faq and in the Google privacy policy: https://www.google.com/policies/privacy/

Use of YouTube
This website uses the YouTube embedding functions for displaying and playing videos from the provider YouTube – YouTube LLC, 901 Cherry Avenue, San Bruno, CA 94066, USA, which is associated with Google LLC., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA (Google). Here the extended data protection mode is used which, according to information from the provider, only starts recording user information when a video is played. If playback of an embedded YouTube video is initiated, the provider YouTube uses cookies to collect information about user behaviour. According to information provided by YouTube, these serve to, for example, collect video statistics to improve ease-of-use and to prevent misuse.

If you are logged into Google, the data will be directly associated with your account if you click on the video. If you would prefer not to have this information associated with your Google profile, you must log out before clicking the button. Google stores your data (even if you are not logged in) as a user profile and evaluates them.

Processing of your data takes place in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f GDPR in particular, based on the legitimate interests of YouTube and Google concerning the display of personalised advertisements, market research and/or the necessary configuration of their website. You have the right to object to the formation of these user profiles, whereby you must exercise your right of objection to YouTube.

Independently of whether embedded videos are played or not, each time this website is called up a connection will be made to the DoubleClick Google network. This may trigger further data processing activities, without us having any influence upon them. Google LLC, with its headquarters in the USA, is certified for the EU-US Privacy Shield data protection agreement, which ensures adherence to EU data protection standards.

You can find more information about data protection at YouTube from the provider's privacy policy: https://www.google.de/intl/de/policies/privacy/

We will send you a confirmation e-mail, asking you to activate a link to confirm that you wish to receive newsletters from us in future.

By activating the confirmation link, you give us your consent to use your personal data in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. a GDPR. When you sign up to our newsletter, we will store your IP address as specified by your internet service provider (ISP), along with the date and time of your registration, in order to be able to trace any misuse of your e-mail address at a later date. The data we collect when you sign up to our newsletter will only be used for marketing approaches by means of the newsletter.

Of course, you can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time, subject to the transmission costs at the basic rate. We ourselves do not charge any fees for this. 8. Duration of storage personal data

We delete personal data as soon as the purpose for which they were collected and processed no longer applies. After this, the data will only continue to be stored if this is required according to the laws of the European Union, or a member state of the European Union, to which we are subject.

If personal data are collected and processed due to consent being given, we will delete these data as soon as the consent has been revoked – unless storage is required or is permissible due to another legal basis, in accordance with the laws of the European Union, or a member state of the European Union, to which we are subject.

Furthermore, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR).

At any time, you have the right to object, on grounds relating to your particular situation, to the processing of your personal data which is based on Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. e) or f) GDPR (data processing performed in the public interest ,or for the purposes of our legitimate interests). In the case of an objection, we will only continue to process your personal data in as far as we can prove compelling, legitimate reasons for it which override your interests, rights and freedoms, or in as far as processing serves the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims.

If you have given us your consent to process your personal data, you have the right to revoke this consent at any time. Our right to continue processing these data using another legal basis, for example, to fulfil legal obligations, remains unaffected.
